Middle Farm pool is a mature well stocked stream fed pool of two and a half acres, tucked away in the spectacular South Shropshire hills to the west of the Long Mynd. It is well stocked with carp, tench and golden orfe. Day tickets may be purchased at £6 up to 2 rods and £7 for 3 rods. There is one day free fishing for guests at our holiday cottages.

Wenlock Edge is a long wooded escarpment stretching from The Wrekin to Craven Arms. The limestone ridge is the remains of a coral reef, so there are lots of opportunities for fossil hunting amongst the exposed rocks. The area is very popular with walkers and the National Trust own a seven mile stretch of the ridge.
